Captain Action Movie Sightings  Sept 2005
The word on the street is that you can catch a glimpse of a vintage Captain Action figure in the new film "The 40 Year Old Virgin".  Apparently the lead character in the film (played by Steve Carell) is an action figure collector.

Dr Evil Labset sells for $2,900 on Ebay  Jun 2005
'Dr Evil with his disguises and weapons' complete with the outer box, listed with a starting price of 24.99 with no reserve, has just closed on ebay for $2900.56.  Not quite mint but still an amazing and rare find.  The set includes all the pieces loose along with the backing cards and box top and bottom. The rarest of the rare, or at the very least a close second.  Up for auction this week on eBay is a Mint in Box Captain Action Green Hornet set.  So far the bidding is over 5 thousand dollars, and the reserve is not met.  Judging from the (small) pictures it looks like its in nice shape.  I am hoping to get some better pictures from the seller to post, but in the mean time you can check out the auction at this link:
