a special deal on their Flash Gordon and Ming the Merciless sets for Captain
Action. They are selling both sets for only $15 (plus shipping and
handling). Flash and Ming each come in a storybook style box and
include an action figure. Originally released in 1999 (last century)
Flash contains the Captain himself while Ming comes complete with the coveted
BROWN Dr Evil figure! This might be your last chance to get these

Marxtoys Announces
the Return of the Classic Vikings

Marxtoys
has taken out a full page ad in the latest issue of toyshop (dated August
10th) to announce the reissue of the "Vikings" action figures. The
12" articulated Vikings figures, originally manufactured in the late 1960's,
are similar to the "Best of the West" and "Nobel Knights" series.
Two figures are being reissued, "Brave Erik" the Viking Warrior and "Odin"
The Viking Chieftain. Each includes 5 pieces of apparel, 17 accessories,
a certificate and collectors booklet. Oddly enough, there is not
yet any mention of the Vikings on the Marxtoys website. For more

Here is one of those cool
cross over things that we are always on the lookout for. Playing
Mantis, the makers of Johnny Lightning, have released a 1:64 scale
Black Beauty for all you Green Hornet fans.
The car is a cool reproduction of the one used on the classic Green Hornet
TV series, plus it comes in very cool packaging. There is also a
chrome version that is a Target Exclusive. Another cool Johnny
Lightning item is the die cast model version of Speed Racer's Mach
5. It is a build it yourself 1:64 scale.
